Edward Edwards’ House

Edward Edwards’ House was closed and demolished in Spring 2024. The 4-year construction project commenced in autumn 2024, and it will deliver a new almshouse (the yellow building in the picture above) comprising 64 generous one-bedroom flats, together with a lounge and gardens for residents on the ground floor, and an exclusive roof terrace and conservatory on top, with views eastwards across the city. A commercial office development (the red building in the picture) provides the funding for the charitable housing provision.

We are not currently recruiting residents to Edward Edwards’ House.
