Our last Artist in Residence was on FIRE !
April saw our second artist Katie Surridge move into the almshouse for her residency with us. Metal worker Katie
bought her self-designed furnace with her and set our residents off on the task of modelling clay faces to
be cast in bronze. Once the clay faces were made they were cast in silicon and then pressed into a special casting sand. Katie added wings to our faces and made some wonderful human faced bees.
Katie performed 3 pours in our wonderful garden and ran some mosaic making workshops to the delight of all the participants.
